- Partner with schools, caregivers, families, and community systems to support the individual’s social-emotional, behavioral, and academic functioning.
- Serve as a liaison between the individual‘s family and external providers (schools, pediatricians, specialists), ensuring coordination of care and follow-through on referrals and service plans.
- Perform intake assessments, develop treatment goals, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, session summaries) within 48 hours of each session.
- Manage a varied caseload of clients, balancing clinic-based and field/remote work, while maintaining high quality of service, rapport, and outcomes.
- Attend and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, trainings, and developmental/professional growth opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
- Active state licensure as LCSW (with no restrictions).
- Experience providing therapy to children, adults, and families, preferably in various settings.
- Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for youth.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate across systems (education, mental health, medical, family), and willingness to travel to community settings.
- Proven ability to manage documentation in an electronic health record (EHR) system and meet compliance deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with developmental delays, learning disorders, behavioral/attention disorders, trauma, and family systems.
- Background in school-based services or community mental health settings.
- Familiarity with interventions such as PCIT, TF-CBT, trauma-informed play therapy, or other focused modalities.
- Comfort and flexibility working in non-traditional settings (home, school) and adapting to varying environments.
- Experience using SimplePractice.
Work Conditions & Environment
- Hybrid format: some days in clinic, some in field/community.
- Schedule may include after-school or evening sessions depending on client needs and availability.
- Travel required between clinic and school sites
- Field work may require working with families in community settings, attending school meetings, and adapting to client context.
