Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and LPC for a Full-Time and Part-Time, positions. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services, including psychotherapy, clinical assessments, and case management, to diverse client populations. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through remote patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. The LCSW will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalized treatment plans across various settings, including community and home-based care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake interviews for individuals across age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral health interventions, and specialized approaches like applied behavior analysis (ABA) and PTSD care.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with client needs and clinical best practices.
- Utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation of patient records, medical terminology, progress notes, and treatment outcomes while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients experiencing acute mental health challenges.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and case management teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in clinical research activities including data collection and analysis to support program development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain ongoing professional development through training in addiction counseling, working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, Alzheimer's care, psychopharmacology, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, ICD coding, special education strategies, and other relevant areas.
Experience
- Proven experience in psychotherapy with diverse populations including children & family counseling, behavioral therapy, social work in medical or community settings.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and medical documentation standards.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders such as autism or intellectual disabilities.
- Background in crisis intervention, case management, diagnostic evaluation, or hospital-based mental health services preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding systems is advantageous.
- Prior experience in research or clinical trials involving mental health or behavioral health topics is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and ethical standards for patient care delivery in a remote setting. Qualifications:
· Active NJ LCSW or LPC License
· 3+ years experience in mental health counseling preferred.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
