Licensed Clinical Social Worker / Licensed Professional Counselor

Join our dynamic behavioral health team at Oklahoma Behavioral Health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive mental health and behavioral care. In this position, you will provide expert clinical counseling, conduct evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans to support individuals across diverse age groups and backgrounds. Responsibilities

  • Completes intakes, develops treatment plans, determines clinical diagnosis and refers clients to appropriate resources internally or externally
  • Prepares, plans, facilitates, and implements direct care of consumers through groups and/or individual therapy
  • Participates in treatment team meetings providing information pertinent to the welfare of consumer for supervision
  • Provides crisis assistance and consults with various third parties as deemed appropriate
  • Complete all documentation in a timely manner
  • Coordinates input from all team members into the comprehensive treatment plan
  • Assists in the development and implementation of programmatic goals and objectives
  • Maintains confidentiality
  • Maintains core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment
  • Maintains effective working relationships and strategic alliances with consumers, other staff, the community and other non-profit organizations
  • Exercises independent judgment
  • Works effectively in a team environment
  • Seeks supervision as appropriate for the safety of consumers and adherence to Policy and Procedures
  • Encourages teamwork and supports the culture and goals of the agency
  • Maintains compliance with state agencies and any other funding /contract sources
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the respective state or jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, behavioral health services, and social work practices.
  • Experience with crisis management techniques and trauma-informed care approaches such as PTSD care or crisis intervention strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to perform intake assessments, patient evaluations, and deliver effective individual or group counseling sessions.
