Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Professional Counselor

Overview
Join our dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to diverse populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management within outpatient, inpatient, or telehealth settings. You will work closely with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, to promote mental wellness and resilience. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to inform treatment planning.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to ensure patient safety during acute episodes.
  • Deliver specialized services including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, behavioral therapy, and gender issues counseling.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans, coordinate case management efforts, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for medical documentation and records.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to extend access to mental health services while maintaining high standards of patient care.
  • Engage in clinical research activities and data collection to evaluate treatment outcomes and improve service delivery.

Skills

  • Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral management strategies.
  • Strong working knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis documentation.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, or patients with chronic pain conditions.
  • Skilled in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and PTSD treatment approaches.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, CPT coding for billing purposes, and HIPAA compliance standards.
  • Ability to conduct intake assessments effectively while managing complex cases involving special education needs or disabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging patients in individual or group therapy settings across outpatient or inpatient environments.
  • Demonstrated capacity for research activities related to clinical counseling outcomes and evidence-based practices in behavioral health. Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
