Licensed Clinical Social Worker(Remote)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health and behavioral health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help individuals navigate complex emotional, psychological, and social challenges through evidence-based therapies and personalized care plans. You will play a key role in promoting mental wellness, supporting recovery, and enhancing overall quality of life for our patients across various settings such as clinics, hospitals, community programs, and home environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and risk assessments for mental health conditions such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and developmental disabilities.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and Christian counseling when appropriate.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute psychiatric episodes or behavioral crises effectively.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and coordinate personalized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and clinical best practices.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Provide case management services to facilitate access to community resources, support systems, and necessary services for patients with complex needs such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Alzheimer's disease, or disabilities.
  • Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection efforts to improve treatment outcomes and contribute to evidence-based practices within behavioral health.
  • Participate in training on medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding systems for billing purposes, and documentation standards relevant to mental health services.

Qualifications

  • Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in the respective state or region.
  • Proven experience working with children and families in clinical settings; familiarity with pediatric mental health issues is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, crisis management, and addiction counseling.
  • Experience working within hospital environments or home & community care settings preferred; familiarity with hospital-based care protocols is a plus.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems along with understanding of medical records management and HIPAA compliance requirements.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments utilizing diagnostic tools such as ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10).
  • Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), including applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
  • Skills in crisis intervention, case management, patient advocacy, and working effectively under pressure in high-stakes situations.

Pay: $45.00 - $100.00 per hour
