Licensed Clinical Team Supervisor – HUD-VASH

The Licensed Clinical Team Supervisor – HUD-VASH reports directly to the Licensed Program Manager – HUD-VASH and/or Project Director at the U.S.VETS West LA site. This individual is responsible for the delivery of quality, comprehensive clinically based services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise HUD-VASH Case Managers and Peer Specialists
  • Serve as Mental Health Treatment Coordinator for the program
  • Oversee client screening, intake, and program eligibility
  • Review and approve Individual Housing & Employment Plans (IHEP) and Mental Health Treatment Plans (MHTP)
  • Monitor caseloads, client progress, and Level of Care (LOC) determinations
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards, documentation, and quality metrics
  • Conduct case reviews, provide coaching, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Facilitate weekly clinical and case management meetings
  • Collaborate with VA partners (HUD-VASH, SSVF, GPD) and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate, confidential client records and track program outcomes
  • Support accreditation efforts (CARF) and program audits
  • Develop and deliver staff trainings, including annual training plans and monthly clinical education
  • Coordinate client discharges and ensure proper transition planning
  • Provide on-call support for crisis management as needed

Qualifications

  • Active LCSW or LMFT license (required)
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, MFT, Psychology, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience supervising clinical or case management staff
  • Experience with homeless services, HUD-VASH, or veteran populations (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of case management, mental health treatment, and housing services
  • Ability to pass NACI background check and complete VA VetPro credentialing
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to transport clients as needed
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
