Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various therapeutic modalities and a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals and families. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, geriatrics, and individuals dealing with PTSD, among other mental health challenges. The Therapist will play a crucial role in developing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing clinical counseling.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments.
- Provide clinical counseling services to clients, focusing on case management and therapeutic interventions.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions, including dance therapy when appropriate.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Engage in clinical research to enhance therapeutic practices and contribute to evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Valid licensure as a Therapist or Counselor in the state of practice.
- Experience in case management and clinical counseling is preferred.
- Familiarity with child family counseling techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of PTSD care methodologies and geriatric mental health issues is desirable.
- Strong skills in research data collection and clinical research practices.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competence.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
