Community Service Inc.(CSI), a leading provider of youth services in Arkansas since 1958, is currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist for our Mountain View location. CSI is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation for mental health, day treatment, substance abuse treatment and therapeutic foster care. CSI operates 16 family service clinics throughout west central and northwest Arkansas. At CSI no child is denied services based on inability to pay.
This position is located in Mountain View , and will serve youth and their families within Stone County. Applicants must have a master’s degree in social work, counseling psychology, or related field. Must also be licensed as an LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LMFT, or LPE. Qualified applicants will be highly motivated and enjoy working with at-risk youth and their families. Reliable transportation is required, and mileage reimbursement is available.
JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing psycho-social therapy and casework services to assist clients with mental health and behavioral symptoms, providing coordination of services with other agencies as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
8. Furnish client information and reports as requested in accordance with CSI HIPAA policies.
9. Has oversight of and provides clinical supervision for QBHPs.
10. Maintains compliance with insurance requirements, including Medicaid and Arkansas PASSE system.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to plan and coordinate therapy and case management services; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with agency supervisor, employees, clients, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders; ability to analyze facts and exercise sound judgment in arriving at conclusions; ability to present facts and recommendations.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, or related filed required. Must be licensed as an LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPE, or LPE-I. Experience in work with youth preferred.
