We are seeking a fully licensed therapist with expertise in trauma treatment who desires not only to build a thriving caseload but also to grow into a leadership role within a rapidly expanding group practice.

Position Overview

This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about working with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. The successful candidate will provide high-quality clinical services while developing the leadership competencies necessary to eventually supervise clinicians, assist with program development, contribute to strategic initiatives, and help shape the future of Thrive House Wellness.

This is more than a therapist position—it is a leadership development opportunity.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy services for adults (18+)
  • Maintain a caseload of approximately 20–28 client sessions per week
  • Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation
  • Deliver trauma-informed care utilizing evidence-based approaches
  • Collaborate with referral sources and community partners
  • Participate in clinical consultation and team meetings
  • Maintain ethical, legal, and professional standards
  • Support positive client outcomes and retention

Preferred Clinical Specializations

Candidates should have training and experience in one or more of the following:

  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Complex Trauma
  • EMDR
  • Somatic Approaches
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Attachment-Based Therapy
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Trauma-Focused CBT
  • Grief and Loss
  • Anxiety Disorders

Leadership Track Responsibilities

As part of the leadership development pathway, this clinician will gradually assume responsibilities such as:

Year 1

  • Build and maintain a strong clinical caseload
  • Participate in leadership mentorship with practice leadership
  • Assist with onboarding and mentoring new clinicians
  • Contribute to program development and clinical initiatives

Year 2+

  • Lead case consultation groups
  • Assist with hiring and interviewing clinicians
  • Support quality assurance and clinical excellence initiatives
  • Develop workshops, groups, and specialty programs
  • Participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives
  • Potential transition into Lead Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, or Clinical Director pathway

QualificationsRequired

  • Fully licensed in Texas (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist)
  • Minimum 2 years post-licensure clinical experience
  • Experience treating trauma in adult populations
  • Strong clinical documentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Desire to grow into leadership and management responsibilities

Preferred

  • EMDR Trained or Certified
  • Trauma certification or advanced trauma training
  • Group practice experience
  • Experience accepting insurance panels
  • Experience supervising interns or associates
  • Interest in program development, teaching, or leadership

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Range: $75,000–$95,000+ annually (based on caseload, licensure, and experience)
