To help you focus on client care, A New Hope provides administrative support services—including marketing assistance, intake scheduling, insurance coordination, and billing—without directing your clinical work or supervising care delivery.

Engagement Overview

• Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
• Work Setting: Telehealth (statewide) and/or in-person in Clermont, FL
• Minimum Commitment: 4 hours per week (with opportunity to expand)
• Preferred Availability: At least one weekend day preferred
• Start Date: Flexible based on credentialing and readiness
• Termination: Either party may terminate with 30 days’ written notice or immediately for cause as defined in the Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA)

Compensation & Payment Terms

• Rate: $60.00 – $75.00 per billable session hour (based on licensure, experience, and weekly availability)
• Billing & Payment: Biweekly payment based on the total number of billable session hours completed during the pay period. Compensation is not contingent upon insurance reimbursement or claim adjudication. Contractors are paid for services rendered regardless of payer processing status, provided documentation is completed and signed within 48 business hours in the Company’s EMR system.
• Taxes: Contractors are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes (no withholdings)
• Documentation Requirement: Progress notes must be completed and signed within 48 hours of service
• Caseload: Client volume depends on referrals and credentialing (no guaranteed minimums)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, or group psychotherapy for clients ages 8 and older via HIPAA-secure telehealth or in-office sessions
• Conduct diagnostic and risk assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions (CBT, DBT, ACT, TF-CBT, etc.)
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other independent clinicians when appropriate to support continuity of care
• Maintain clear and timely documentation in the Company’s EMR
• Exercise independent professional judgment in all clinical decisions, consistent with licensure and ethics
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations including HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2 (where applicable), and Florida Statute §456.057 (records retention and confidentiality)
• Participate in peer consultation and case collaboration as desired

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy
• Active, unrestricted Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist)
• Professional liability insurance of at least $100,000 per claim / $300,000 aggregate
• Reliable computer, webcam, and high-speed internet for telehealth sessions
• At least one year post-licensure clinical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with trauma, mood disorders, or co-occurring conditions
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish or Portuguese preferred)
• Prior experience in hybrid or fully remote therapy settings

Independent Contractor Terms

• You control your schedule, clinical methods, and work environment within professional and ethical standards
• You are responsible for your own taxes, business expenses, and equipment
• You are not covered under the Company’s workers’ compensation or unemployment insurance
• All clinical documentation and records created during this engagement remain the property of A New Hope Psychiatric Services and must comply with federal HIPAA standards and Florida Statute §456.057
• Contractors may not solicit Company clients or staff during or after the engagement, as outlined in the Non-Solicitation & Confidentiality Agreement
