Licensed Cosmetologist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cosmetologist/Aesthetician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in skincare and beauty treatments, and a deep interest in scalp health, hair care, and holistic beauty. You will be providing exceptional services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. As a Head Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering Ayurvedic treatments, educating clients on scalp care and hair care regimens, and promoting our Ayurvedic products.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of scalp and hair care services including scalp massage, hair and scalp analysis, hair treatments, and facials.
• Provide personalized consultations to assess client needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage client appointments using Fresha or similar scheduling software.
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and follow-up communication.
• Promote retail sales of hair care products and scalp tools to enhance client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in the beauty industry, including massage techniques and social media management for promotional purposes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive spa experience.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Cosmetologist/Aesthetician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
• Proficiency in scalp care, facials, skin care and other aesthetic services.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Familiarity with retail sales practices in the beauty sector is preferred.
• Knowledge of cosmetology principles and techniques is essential.
• Experience in social media management is a plus for promoting services and engaging with clients.
