Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Licensed Counselor or Social Worker to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral services team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs, behavioral concerns, and treatment goals.
- Develop personalized care plans utilizing evidence-based approaches such as behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), psychodynamic therapy, and Christian counseling when appropriate.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions focused on mental health counseling, behavioral health interventions, and social work support.
- Facilitate diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate treatment modalities and monitor progress over time.
- Manage intake processes efficiently to ensure seamless onboarding of new patients while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within medical records using proper medical terminology and detailed notes consistent with healthcare standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management, discharge planning, and community resource linkage to support holistic patient care.
- Engage in home and community care initiatives to extend support beyond clinical settings when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA guidelines, and stay current with medical documentation practices.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health, social work practices, and specialized areas such as geriatrics or aging issues counseling.
Skills
- Proven expertise in behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Strong background in patient care, patient assessment, and clinical counseling strategies.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards.
- Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Ability to perform intake assessments efficiently while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
- Skilled in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions across diverse populations.
- Knowledge of case management principles with experience coordinating community resources for patients’ holistic needs.
- Experience working with home & community care programs is highly desirable.
- Competence in Christian counseling or psychodynamic therapy is a plus for tailored therapeutic approaches.

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
