Job Overview
Boutique skin care spa in Beverly, MA is seeking a Licensed Esthetician to join our growing team.

Growth & Performance Expectations

Compensation and scheduled hours are performance-based and may increase based on individual KPIs, including retail sales, service upgrades, client retention, and overall contribution to the spa’s growth.

This role requires strong consultation and selling skills. The ideal candidate is confident recommending professional home care, upgrading treatments when appropriate, selling memberships and packages, building long-term client relationships that support retention and repeat visits.

We are looking for someone who understands that growth in income, hours, and potential future leadership opportunities is directly connected to performance, professionalism, and team contribution.

Availability for some evenings and rotating weekends is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of esthetic treatments including customized facials, dermaplaning, dermabrasion, eyelash extensions, body waxing, microneedling, and chemical peels
• IPL experience is a strong plus (active MA IPL license preferred)
• Conduct professional client consultations to assess skin conditions and recommend appropriate treatment plans
• Confidently recommend and demonstrate professional skincare products
• Upsell treatments and service upgrades when appropriate
• Support client retention through follow-up and long-term treatment planning
• Utilize salon management software to schedule appointments and maintain accurate client records
• Participate in social media engagement and occasional content creation to support spa growth
• Maintain impeccable sanitation and hygiene standards in accordance with state regulations
• Provide excellent client service and maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere
• Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling, check-in/check-out, and team collaboration

• Requirements
• Active Massachusetts Esthetician License (required)
• IPL License (preferred but not required)
• Ability to provide professional references upon request
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Availability for some evenings and rotating weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
