When not performing services, the ideal candidate would help with front desk - answering phones, checking other clients in/out, cleaning/sanitizing, etc. This would be a dual position.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of esthetic treatments such as facials, dermabrasion, body waxing, chemical peels
• Provide advanced skin care services including esthetic laser treatments and dermal therapies to enhance client results.
• Deliver expert product demos and recommend retail products tailored to individual skincare needs to boost sales and client satisfaction.
• Maintain strict sanitation standards and adhere to health regulations during all procedures to ensure client safety.
• Manage appointment scheduling using salon software like Millennium or MINDBODY; assist with front desk duties including guest check-in/out and answering inquiries.
• Engage with clients through social media management and upselling techniques to promote services and retail offerings effectively.
• Support team collaboration by sharing knowledge on color theory, nail care, makeup application, barbering techniques, and other beauty specialties.
• Ensure a seamless guest experience by delivering outstanding customer service from greeting clients to follow-up consultations.
• Stay current on industry trends such as med spa procedures, hair extensions, tattooing, straight razor shaves, and hospitality standards to elevate service quality.

Skills

• Valid esthetician certification
• Strong management skills with the ability to oversee appointments and client flow efficiently.
• Proficiency in salon management software including Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling and record keeping.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients confidently and explaining treatment options clearly.
• Knowledge of social media management strategies to promote services and engage with the community.
• Expertise in sanitation practices aligned with health regulations; meticulous attention to cleanliness during all procedures.
• Experience in retail sales with an emphasis on upselling products that complement treatments.
• Familiarity with advanced esthetic procedures like dermabrasion or deep tissue massage is a plus.
• Ability to educate clients on color theory concepts for makeup or hair coloring consultations; experience in med spa environments highly desirable. Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
