Responsibilities
- Patient Care Treatment Delivery: Performing customized skincare treatments, including facials, chemical peels (within scope of licensure), and other esthetic services in accordance with Evolve standards and California regulations.
- Consultations & Patient Education: Conducting thorough skin assessments, recommending appropriate treatments and products, and educating patients on skincare routines and post-treatment care.
- Client Experience: Creating a welcoming, professional, and relaxing environment that ensures each patient feels comfortable, confident, and cared for throughout their visit.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Managing treatment timing effectively to support clinic flow and collaborating with the Patient Care Coordinator to optimize scheduling and patient experience.
- Sales & Product Recommendations: Promoting and selling skincare products, services, and memberships based on patient needs to enhance results and support retention.
- Sanitation & Infection Control: Adhering to all sanitation, disinfection, and infection control standards as required by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology and local health authorities.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with medical providers, leadership, and front office staff to support clinic operations and ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Maintaining Treatment Areas: Ensuring treatment rooms are clean, stocked, organized, and compliant with all health and safety regulations at all times.
- Continuing Education: Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of skincare treatments, products, and California regulatory requirements, including license renewal and required certifications.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Active and current Esthetician license issued by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology (required) (must maintain in good status at all times)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a med spa, dermatology, or clinical skincare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of skincare products, treatments, and contraindications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to sell products and services in a consultative, patient-focused manner
- Experience with Zenoti or similar practice management software preferred
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
