Licensed Esthetician

THIS POSITION REQUIRES THAT YOU POSSESS A LOUISIANA LICENSE IN ESTHETICS OR COSMETOLOGY. Please only apply if you are currently a Louisiana, licensed esthetician or cosmetologist, or will be obtaining your license within the next 2 weeks.

Botanical Nail and Skin Studio is searching for dedicated and committed, Louisiana licensed Estheticians/ Cosmetologists for our new MidCity location.

This position is responsible for exemplifying Botanical Nail and Skin Studio's customer service philosophy, describing to clients the products used in our signature treatments, and providing an exceptional spa experience. You will work in a fast-paced, luxury spa environment and must be a team player focused on client satisfaction.

The Esthetician administers professional facials and waxing services to our guests. They must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, have excellent facial massage and skin extraction techniques, possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills, and be willing to train in our spa's specific facial treatment offerings. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness and beauty solutions to meet the needs of our guests. They must hold and maintain a current State license

Responsibilities:
QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must hold and maintain a State licensed esthetician or cosmetologist.
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops and administers treatment plans based on individual client needs.
• May consult with other healthcare professionals regarding treatment plans.
• Approach all encounters with guests in a friendly service oriented manner.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• Be prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
• Provide consistent professional skin care and waxing treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
• Check work schedule between each guest to assess next appointment time & service.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas.
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the Spa's policies and procedures.
• Stay knowledgeable about current skin care and waxing trends through continued education.
• Address and resolve all customer issues in an efficient and effective manner.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and in proper working condition.
• Report any and all deficiencies to the appropriate manager.
• Follow lost and found procedures in an efficient a timely manner.
• Responsible for the achievement of departmental objectives and goals.

Job Duties

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure each client receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, deep product knowledge and honest advice
• Present a well-stocked, clean and beautifully presented spa
