Job Overview

Duties

• Perform a variety of esthetic treatments including facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments to meet client needs.
• Conduct skin analysis and recommend suitable skincare routines or products based on individual skin types and conditions.
• Maintain strict sanitation and infection control standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
• Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to accurately document client information, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Provide professional makeup application services for special occasions or photo shoots, ensuring each client’s vision is realized.
• Educate clients on skincare best practices, product usage, and post-treatment care to promote long-term skin health.
• Support sales efforts by recommending retail products that complement treatments and meet client needs while maintaining excellent customer service.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a relaxing, positive experience for every client.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols, infection control procedures, and safety standards essential for esthetic practices.
• Certification in Cosmetology or Esthetician licensing as required by state regulations.
• Familiarity with advanced esthetic techniques such as tattooing, laser treatments, dermabrasion, and eyelash extensions.
• Understanding of color theory for makeup application to enhance clients’ natural features effectively.
• Experience with Hair threading, body waxing, and medical records management within an esthetic setting.
• Ability to educate clients on skincare products, treatment options, and overall wellness strategies confidently.
