Pay: $15/hour plus commission and tips, average range $23 - $27+/hour

FloraLuna Beauty Bar is a local, woman-owned Day Spa that seeks to create a culture of warmth and belonging, where all are welcomed to receive and deliver high quality aesthetic, waxing and massage services. We are seeking an experienced, skilled, compassionate and positive Licensed Esthetician to join our team!

Responsibilities and Skills

• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring clients feel safe, comfortable and relaxed during their service;
• Provide full body waxing, facials, lash lifts and brow laminations;
• Educate clients on various services and products, and recommend follow-up appointments or products as necessary;
• Respond to calls and text messages from clients;
• Comply with all state regulations, specifically in regards to sanitation;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to work well independently, with minimal supervision and direction;
• Maintain an appropriate social media presence for the purpose of marketing and advertising;
• Continuing education in aesthetics, following updates in products and techniques;
• Light housekeeping and laundry as required/available.

Desired Qualifications, Certifications and Endorsements

• Possess and maintain a current Oregon Esthetics License in good standing;
• Maintain personal liability insurance;
• Bilingual, Spanish speaker, to be compensated at an additional 5% of hourly base rate upon verification;
• Preferred: 1-3 years of experience providing aesthetic services to include full-body waxing, facials, and lash and brow services.

We are seeking to add a motivated, dedicated individual who considers their employment as a mentorship opportunity to continue to build their professional skills.

Schedule and Hours

This position will start on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays, from 1:00pm - 7:00pm, shifting start time back to 11:00am as books fill, in addition to some Saturdays 10:00am - 5:00pm.

During training, schedule will be variable and determined at time of hire.

Compensation

Compensation is provided as a combination of base hourly pay during aesthetic sessions, and for up to 15-minutes in between bookings, tips and commission.

Base hourly rate: $15.00

Commission: 5-10%, negotiated based on experience.

Total compensation anticipated to be $23.00 - $27.00+ per hour, plus cash tips.
