Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of esthetic treatments including body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, and skin cleansing procedures.
• Provide personalized skincare consultations to recommend suitable treatments and home care routines based on clients’ skin types and concerns.
• Maintain strict sanitation and infection control standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
• Manage medical records accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, documenting treatments, client preferences, and progress notes.
• Assist clients with makeup application for special occasions or daily wear, enhancing their natural features with skillful techniques.
• Educate clients on skincare products and services to promote ongoing skin health and satisfaction.
• Uphold all state licensing requirements and adhere to health regulations related to cosmetology, sanitation, and infection control practices.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols, infection control procedures, and safety standards essential for esthetic practices.
• Proficiency in cosmetology techniques including hair threading, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and makeup application.
• Familiarity with color theory to assist with cosmetic consultations and product recommendations.
• Experience operating EMR systems for accurate record keeping of medical records and treatment history.
• Excellent communication skills to educate clients about skincare routines and product use while promoting retail sales opportunities.
