Summary:

The Esthetician at Mountain Lake Lodge plays a key role in delivering high‑quality skincare services that promote relaxation, wellness, and rejuvenation for guests. This position enhances the overall guest experience by providing expert treatments in a serene lodge environment, contributing to the lodge’s reputation for exceptional hospitality and care. This is a contract position, earning commission plus gratuities off all services.

Responsibilities

• Perform skincare treatments including facials, deep tissue massages, and makeup applications.
• Sanitize tools and workspaces to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Conduct product demonstrations and educate clients on skincare products.
• Assist in upselling services and products to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to provide the best services.
• Educate guests on skincare routines, product benefits, and aftercare recommendations.
• Promote and sell retail skincare products that support guest needs and lodge revenue goals.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of skincare trends, ingredients, and treatment techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid esthetician license in the state of employment.
• Proven experience in skincare treatments and makeup application.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests.
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Sales experience is a plus, particularly in upselling services.
