About Us

The Honey Pot Sugaring & Skincare is a spa dedicated to providing high-quality, natural hair removal and skincare solutions. As we prepare for an exciting new expansion to our second location in La Jolla, we are looking for a skilled, independent, and reliable Esthetician to help hold down the fort and care for our amazing clients at our Lemon Grove location.

The Opportunity

This is initially a temporary position to cover a maternity leave, but it has massive potential to transition into a permanent part-time role as our La Jolla location books up and our founder shifts focus there.

Right now, your primary focus will be delivering flawless sugaring services to our established clientele. However, as the role evolves and grows into a permanent position, we will expand your schedule to include our signature, customized facials, hydrafcials, glo2 facials etc.

The Schedule (Peak Hours)

We are looking for someone to anchor our highest-volume days. You must be available to work the following exact shifts:

Tuesday: Afternoon shift (1:45 PM – 7:15 PM)

Friday: Morning/Mid-day shift (9:45 AM – 2:15 PM)

Saturday: Morning/Early Afternoon shift (9:45 AM – 3:15 PM)

Total: ~15.5 hours per week of prime booking slots

What You’ll Do

Provide high-quality, efficient body sugaring services (experience with Brazilian sugaring is a must).

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment room.

Educate clients on proper pre- and post-care routines as well as recommend aftercare products.

Build genuine connections with our community and maintain our high standards of client care.

Eventually transition into performing customized facials as the role grows into a permanent position.

What We’re Looking For

Licensed Esthetician: Must hold a valid California Esthetician license.

Sugaring Certification Required: You must be certified in body sugaring by a reputable, recognized brand. We will train you on our specific shop flow, but you must already have your certification and know the foundational technique to hit the ground running.

Reliable & Self-Motivated: Because you will be stepping in during a transition period, we need someone dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.

Low-Drama Team Player: We pride ourselves on a supportive, kind, and peaceful work environment. We want someone who brings positive energy to our tight-knit team!
