Licensed Esthetician

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Esthetician to join our team - blah blah, all these postings are the same - well I am not!! The ideal candidate is a fighter because, lets be honest, this business is challenging! It is hard to grow a clientel and it takes a lot effort, more than just showing up to perform treatments! Responsibilities (we are looking for MORE than someone to just perform treatments, so if that is what you're expecting this is not the right position for you)

- Perform a variety of skincare treatments including facials, body contouring, waxing, laser, microneedling, etc
- Conduct consultations to determine clients' goals and recommend appropriate treatments (cross promote other aspects of the business, learn from the consults what they want and give it to them)
- Provide expert advice on skincare products and regimens (product sales are vital)
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in treatment rooms and work areas
- Keep detailed records of client consultations, treatments, products used and most importantly conversations
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques in esthetics, training is provided but you are expected to continue your education

-Generate and retain clients (networking events - planning, attending, promoting)

-Social media content creation and self-promotion

-Web lead followups

-Meeting/exceeding sales goals and KPI's

Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess some or all of the following skills:

- Proficiency in facials, waxing (brow experience preferred) and lifts/laminations, and advanced services like microneedling, dermaplaning, chemical peels
- Experience in guest services and customer care
- Experience with cosmetic laser treatments and the ability to sell pair/upgrade with other services
- Ability to manage social media platforms for promoting services by creating engaging content
- Familiarity with discussing injections for cross promotion
- Skill in upgrading patients whether that be treatment add-on or home care products
- Strong customer relationship building skills and ability to deliver an exceptional experience
- Previous experience working at the front desk of a med spa or salon is a plus
