Position Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Laser Technician to join our Chelsea team. The ideal candidate is skilled, safety-conscious, and passionate about aesthetics and technology. You’ll perform a variety of laser and energy-based treatments while providing an elevated client experience that aligns with Upkeep’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a range of laser and energy-based services (laser hair removal, IPL, skin resurfacing, tightening, pigmentation treatments, etc.) following company protocols.
• Conduct consultations to assess client needs and determine the best treatment plan.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records in EMR (Boulevard experience is a plus).
• Adhere strictly to all medical, safety, and sanitation standards set by New York State and Upkeep Medical PLLC.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new technology, and products to continually enhance your expertise.
• Educate clients on treatment preparation, aftercare, and skincare routines.
• Collaborate with team members to support an exceptional client experience and clinic flow.
• Participate in training, team meetings, and promotional events as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Laser Certification and/or appropriate licensure (RN, LPN, NP, PA, or Certified Laser Technician).
• 1+ years of hands-on experience performing laser treatments in a medical or med spa setting.
• Strong understanding of skin types, contraindications, and laser safety.
• Excellent communication, bedside manner, and attention to detail.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using EMR and scheduling systems.
• Professional, reliable, and motivated to grow within a fast-paced, high-end environment.
