Part-Time Esthetician / Wellness Associate

Float and Fly Wellness Studio – Dubuque, IA

Float and Fly Wellness Studio is hiring a Part-Time Esthetician / Wellness Associate to join our wellness-focused team. This role is ideal for a licensed esthetician who enjoys hands-on skincare services and supporting a calm, welcoming guest experience in a boutique wellness environment.

You’ll provide esthetic services while also assisting with front desk, retail, and daily studio operations to ensure every guest feels cared for from start to finish.

Schedule & Availability (Required)

• Must be available Fridays and every other Saturdays
• Minimum availability of 3 days per week

Compensation

• Wellness Associate duties: $14/hour
• Esthetician services: Incentive-based pay (based on experience and services performed)
• Tips in addition to hourly and service pay

What You’ll Do

• Perform esthetic services including:
• Customized facials
• Waxing services
• Body treatments such as our Salty Glow Up
• Educate guests on skincare, wellness services, and retail products
• Greet guests and assist with check-in, bookings, and memberships
• Operate POS system accurately, including cash handling
• Support retail sales, inventory, and stock replenishment
• Complete daily cleaning, laundry, and operational tasks to maintain a serene, guest-ready space
• Work independently and collaboratively to support team goals and guest satisfaction

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Esthetician license required
• Experience in spa, wellness, or retail environments preferred (not required)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self-directed with the ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks
• Comfortable using POS systems and basic technology
• Able to use stairs daily and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, professional, and guest-focused
