Licensed Esthetician (Contractor - 1099)

Are you passionate about skincare, client care, and helping clients feel confident in their skin? Atelier Wellness Clinic + Med Spa is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Licensed Esthetician (1099 Independent Contractor) to join our team.

This independent contractor position focuses on providing high-quality skincare treatments, creating a relaxing and professional client experience, and supporting service and product sales through education, recommendations, and relationship-building. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and committed to growing their clientele while contributing to a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional skincare treatments, specializing in facials and dermabrasion.
• Conduct comprehensive skin analyses and recommend customized treatment plans and skincare products.
• Educate clients on proper skincare regimens and product usage through consultations and demonstrations.
• Recommend appropriate services, packages, memberships, and retail products based on client needs and goals.
• Promote additional services and products through professional upselling and cross-selling techniques.
• Follow up with clients to encourage retention, rebooking, and long-term treatment success.
• Build strong client relationships through excellent customer service and communication.
• Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Contribute to social media content, marketing initiatives, and client engagement efforts.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Current Nevada Esthetician License required.
• Previous experience in a medical spa, spa, dermatology, or aesthetic practice preferred.
• Strong knowledge of skincare treatments, products, and industry trends.
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to educate and recommend treatments confidently and professionally.
• Experience with retail sales, memberships, treatment packages, and client retention strategies preferred.
• Familiarity with eyelash extensions is a bonus.
• Experience creating social media content is preferred.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and accountability.

Compensation & Contractor Status

• 1099 Independent Contractor Position
• Flexible scheduling based on clinic needs and contractor availability.
• Compensation structure to be discussed during the interview process.
• Opportunity for additional earnings through service sales, retail product sales, memberships, and performance incentives.
• Contractor is responsible for maintaining all required professional licenses, certifications, insurance, and tax obligations associated with independent contractor status.
