Job Description: Esthetician - Belle Vie Wellness and Medical Aesthetics

Position Overview:

Belle Vie Med Spa is seeking a skilled and licensed Esthetician to join our team of beauty and wellness professionals. As an Esthetician at Belle Vie, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality skincare and beauty treatments to our valued clients. Your expertise in analyzing skin conditions, recommending personalized treatments, and providing exceptional customer service will enhance our clients' well-being and contribute to the overall success and reputation of our med spa.

Responsibilities:

1. Skincare Treatments: Perform skincare treatments, utilizing the HydraFacial modality. Tailor treatments to meet individual client needs and skin conditions.

2. Consultations: Conduct thorough skin consultations to assess clients' skin types, conditions, and concerns. Offer expert advice and recommendations for personalized skincare routines and ongoing treatments.

3. Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest skincare products, treatments, and industry trends. Educate clients about recommended skincare products for at-home use from in-house brands, Alastin, SkinMedica, ZO, and Image.

4. Sanitation and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, adhering to sanitation protocols for equipment, tools, and treatment areas.

5. Client Relations: Build strong, lasting relationships with clients through excellent customer service, active listening, and understanding their individual preferences and needs.

6. Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or retail products that align with clients' skincare goals and concerns.

7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the med spa team, including nurses, MA’s, and front desk staff, to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care.

8. Documentation: Accurately record client information, treatment details, and progress notes in the spa's electronic database.

9. Continuing Education: Pursue ongoing education and training in advanced skincare techniques and new product lines to stay at the forefront of the industry.

Requirements:

1. Esthetician License: Possess a valid state esthetician license and meet all local regulatory requirements.

2. Skincare Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in performing a wide range of skincare treatments and familiarity with the latest industry advancements.

3. Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills to ensure a positive and satisfying experience for clients.

4. Professionalism: Maintain a professional and polished appearance, adhere to spa dress code policies, and exhibit a high level of professionalism at all times.

5. Adaptability: Ability to adapt skincare treatments and techniques to accommodate clients with various skin types and conditions.

6. Time Management: Efficiently manage appointment schedules and treatment durations to ensure smooth and timely operations.

7. Passion for Wellness: Exhibit a genuine passion for skincare, beauty, and overall wellness, with a dedication to improving clients' self-confidence and well-being.

8. Ethical Practice: Maintain the highest ethical standards, respecting client privacy and confidentiality.
