Licensed Esthetician – Independent Contractor (1099)

Job Overview

Karma Aesthetics & Wellness is seeking a motivated and self-driven Licensed Esthetician to join our team as an independent contractor. This role is ideal for an esthetician who is looking to grow their own clientele within a supportive, professional med spa environment.

This is not a traditional employee position—we are looking for someone who is comfortable operating independently, bringing in and building their own client base, and taking ownership of their schedule and income.

While we do not guarantee a full client book, we provide a high-end space, strong brand presence, and ongoing opportunities for continued education, including training on new techniques, treatments, and devices. This is a great opportunity for both experienced estheticians with an existing clientele and newer estheticians who are confident in their ability to market and grow.

Responsibilities

• Perform esthetic services such as facials, chemical peels, and skincare treatments within your scope of practice
• Build, maintain, and grow your personal client base
• Conduct client consultations and recommend appropriate treatments and skincare products
• Maintain accurate client records and treatment documentation
• Uphold sanitation and safety standards in accordance with state regulations
• Manage your own schedule, bookings, and client communication
• Provide an exceptional client experience to encourage retention and referrals
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and professional work environment

Experience

• Active Esthetician License (required)
• Existing clientele is strongly preferred but not required
• Confidence in performing esthetic services independently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Interest in aesthetics, skincare, and client education
• Experience with social media or client acquisition is a plus

Additional Information

• This is a 1099 independent contractor position
• Estheticians are responsible for building and maintaining their own clientele
• Limited internal client distribution may be available but is not guaranteed
• Ongoing training opportunities on advanced treatments, techniques, and devices
• Flexible scheduling based on your availability

Pay: $800.00 - $2,000.00 per week
