If you are a reliable and mature licensed Estheticianor licensed Cosmetologist with at least 2 years skin care experience, a self-starter, passionate about helping people to become successful and also have the desire to inspire others to fulfill their dreams of doing more than the ordinary in life, this position may be for you!

You must have exceptional customer service skills , the ability to connect with people, the desire for a challenge, a passion to learn and grow everyday and a can-do attitude.

Qualifications of the Esthetics Instructor:

• Candidates must be able to reliably maintain their work schedule
• Valid NY State Esthetics or Cosmetology License.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the Skin Care Field
• HS Diploma or GED.

Excellent presentation skills, listening and conflict-resolution skills, strong planning, organization and administrative capabilities and the ability to demonstrate technical concepts with 100% accuracy.

• An enthusiastic attitude with good communication skills.
• Must have experience with all types of facials, microdermabrasion and various peels.
• No Teaching Experience is necessary, we will train with pay.

Responsibilities of the Esthetics Instructor:

• Responsible for keeping their assigned rooms clean and for correcting and/or reporting any student they see violating school policies.
• Be familiar with their scheduled lessons prior to entering class and have their own lesson plans and notes to be utilized in conjunction with school's prepared outline.
• Report progress and grades for each student upon completion of each lesson.
• Attend all teacher seminars and faculty meetings.
• Required to participate in workshops and seminars at the min. of 12 hours per year including 4 hours of teaching methodology to ensure their continuous education.
• All new instructors are required to take the N.Y. Teacher Training Course, consisting of 30 hours of instruction per class.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 19.0 – 22.0 per week

License/Certification:

• Esthetics License (Required)

Work Location: In person
