About the Practice

Van Huffel DDS is a fee-for-service, relationship-based practice in Columbus, OH. We are intentionally scheduled — typically 8–10 patients per day— with enough time to do our best work. The environment is calm, organized, and built around clinical precision and a genuinely excellent patient experience.

The team is small. Communication is direct. Everyone takes ownership of their work and supports each other.

The Schedule

• Monday / Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday / Thursday: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• No Fridays. No weekends.

The Role

We're hiring a full-time EFDA with strong restorative experience who is confident working independently and takes real pride in the quality of their work. You'll work directly alongside the doctor every day and play a central role in clinical delivery.

This position is best suited for someone who values precision over volume, thrives in a structured and predictable environment, and is ready to be trusted with actual clinical responsibility.

What you'll be doing:

• Placing high-quality restorations with attention to detail
• Adjusting occlusion
• Placing sealants and performing preventive procedures
• Operating an intraoral scanner and supporting our CEREC/CAD-CAM workflow
• Anticipating provider needs and keeping the day running smoothly
• Communicating warmly and professionally with patients
• Holding OSHA and infection control standards without being reminded

What We're Looking For

• Active Ohio EFDA license — required
• Demonstrated experience placing restorations and adjusting occlusion
• Comfortable with digital intraoral scanning
• Calm under pressure, professional without being stiff
• Organized, dependable, and self-directed
• Someone who takes the clinical side seriously and doesn't cut corners
