Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner /PMHNP

Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner / PMHNP (Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) Dual credentialing is a plus and make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives! In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive primary care,HIV,STD,STD test and treat and specialized mental health services across diverse patient populations, including , adults, seniors, and individuals with complex medical needs. Your expertise will help bridge gaps in care, promote wellness, and support recovery in outpatient,and community settings. Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and mental health evaluations to develop personalized care plans diagnose and prescribe.
  • Provide evidence-based treatment interventions such as medication management, including injections and IV infusions, behavioral health therapy, and crisis intervention.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients in settings like outpatient clinics and specialist referrals.
  • Utilize EMR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks to document clinical encounters accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Engage in telehealth consultations to extend access to mental health and primary care services across geographic boundaries.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects to advance best practices and patient outcomes.

Experience

  • Valid licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner / PMHNP with current certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (children/toddlers), geriatrics (memory/dementia care), behavioral health patients, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • DEA number
  • Hands-on experience in acute care environments such as emergency rooms, ICU/CCU units, or trauma centers is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding standards for accurate documentation.
  • Background in medical office procedures including specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, medication administration (including injections), and sterile techniques.
  • Knowledge of specialty areas such as gastroenterology, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, occupational health, or post-acute care is a plus.
  • Critical care experience including ventilator management, airway management skills like intubation or spinal taps preferred.
  • Experience working within hospital medicine settings such as Level I/II trauma centers or teaching hospitals enhances your ability to deliver high-level care. Pay: $104,000.00 - $135,200.00 per year
