Licensed Home Inspector

Sherlock Home Inspections is a Florida based company, currently in 32 counties & growing.

We are looking for licensed Home Inspectors that want to work with a growing company. The ideal candidate is able to independently inspect homes for buyers and homeowners, prepare reports and provide outstanding customer service.

Spanish speaking is a plus (but not required).

MUST be fluent in English (speaking, reading, & writing).

The duties of a Home Inspector include:

Maintain a dependable work vehicle & reliable inspection tools

Conduct home, condo, town home, & mobile home inspections

Conduct 4 Point & Wind Mitigation inspections when required

Conduct specialty, ancillary, &/or other custom home inspections to meet the clients’ requests

Periodic collection & handling of air / water samples for observation or processing at the lab

Completion and submission of inspection reports

Periodic visits to the offices of Realtors and other referral sources

Periodic attendance at community / industry social & networking events, trade shows, etc.

Any & all other tasks required to complete the job effectively

FL Home Inspector License

Reliable tools

Effective communication skills

Computer proficiency – ability to complete & submit inspection reports quickly & properly

Ability to safely & effectively inspect roofs, attics, crawl spaces, and other restrictive areas.
