Licensed HVAC Installer

Shank Brothers Inc. is a family-owned plumbing and heating company specializing in new construction projects, including hotels, apartment complexes, and nursing homes. We are seeking experienced Journeyman HVAC Installers to join our growing team.

Position Overview
As a Journeyman HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new construction environments. This role focuses strictly on installation—no service calls—allowing you to work consistently in a structured, project-based setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Install plenums, boots, flex duct, and fire dampers
• Cut, bend, and insulate sheet metal
• Install furnaces, condensers, mini-splits, and related HVAC equipment
• Cut, thread, and install black iron gas piping
• Braze line sets
• Maintain a clean and organized job site

Work Schedule

• Typical start time: 7:30 AM
• Typical end time: 4:00 PM
• No on-call work
• No mandatory overtime

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Heating/HVAC License (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC experience in new construction
• Proficiency in brazing
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of HVAC systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Reliable transportation
• Professional references required

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ductwork installation
• Familiarity with HVAC system design
• Working knowledge of plumbing systems
