Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Licensed P & C Agent to join our team. This role involves engaging with clients to assess their insurance needs, providing tailored solutions, and building lasting relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of insurance products. Bilingual capabilities and experience in outside sales or retail sales are highly desirable. Duties
- Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach.
- Work inbound leads in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct a thorough needs analysis to recommend appropriate insurance policies that meet client requirements.
- Present and explain various insurance options, ensuring clients understand coverage details and benefits.
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Manage sales administration tasks, including processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Develop marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Assist with benefits administration for clients, explaining policy features and coverage options clearly.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to review coverage needs and identify opportunities for additional sales or policy adjustments.
Skills
- Proven experience in insurance sales, outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Excellent communication skills—bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse client bases.
