Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Independent Social Worker- Supervisor (LISW-S) to lead our clinical team in providing exceptional mental health and social services. Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and mentorship to licensed social workers, interns, and support staff to promote professional growth and adherence to best practices.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and mental health screenings, to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and Christian counseling.
- Coordinate intake processes by reviewing client histories, medical documentation, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Manage case documentation accurately within electronic medical records systems while maintaining compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans addressing behavioral health, aging issues, geriatrics, and community-based needs.
- Lead community outreach efforts by providing home visits and engaging with clients in their natural environments to enhance treatment effectiveness.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of behavioral health practices including applied behavior analysis (ABA), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and other therapeutic modalities.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation standards, and HIPAA regulations related to patient care.
- Proven ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations within a clinical setting.
- Experience in managing medical records securely while ensuring accuracy in treatment documentation.
- Skilled in conducting intake interviews, individual counseling, group therapy sessions, and case management activities.
- Familiarity with home & community care models to support clients outside traditional clinical environments.
