Licensed Industrial Electrician

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Industrial Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across industrial facilities. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of complex electrical equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high and low voltage systems, and schematics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects such as renovations, construction sites, and ongoing maintenance within a fast-paced industrial environment. Your hands-on experience and technical knowledge will play a vital role in supporting our operational excellence.

Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings using hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
• Maintain compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for low and high voltage installations.
• Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize machinery automation processes.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems on construction sites or during renovations to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper handling of high voltage and low voltage electrical components.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications thoroughly for record-keeping and future reference.
• MUST HAVE A VALID ELECTRICAL LICENSE IN NC

Experience

• Valid license as an Industrial Electrician with proven experience in industrial environments.
• Demonstrated experience working on commercial or industrial construction sites with a focus on electrical installations and repairs.
• Hands-on experience with schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and electrical system design.
• Familiarity with NEC standards governing electrical safety and installation practices.
• Proficiency in working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems within industrial facilities.
• Experience troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and automation controls is highly desirable.
• Construction site experience involving renovation projects or new installations is preferred.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
