Licensed Insurance Account Specialist

Job Overview

At our agency, we prioritize building lasting relationships with our clients and ensuring their peace of mind through personalized service. We are currently seeking a Licensed Agency Consultant to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier insurance products and services. This is an inside-sales office position with a strong focus on customer retention and service.

Applicants with an active property and casualty insurance license start with a $22 base hourly rate plus 3-10% commission on written premiums per the pay plan terms. Average annual total compensation is $55,000 with increased potential based on productivity/number of sold products. Candidates without a P&C license will start at a $18.00 hourly rate until licensed.


Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Requirements

  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations.
  • A Property & Casualty insurance license is preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Prior sales experience preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
  • Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
  • Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.
  • Handle customer renewals.
