Licensed Insurance Agent

We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Licensed Insurance Agent to join our insurance agency.

The ideal candidate loves talking to people, proactively solving issues, and is a great multi-tasker. This person will initially be responsible for identifying cross-sell opportunities, client account reviews, processing policies, quoting and issuing new policies, along with overall support. We will provide you with the training This position provides opportunity for job growth & continuing education.

Responsibilities include:

• Identify cross-selling sales opportunities with existing clients
• Service and maintain an existing book of business, that includes renewals, endorsements, and policy reviews.
• Communicate with customers via various platforms
• Effectively quote & sell insurance policies
• Provide knowledgeable answers to questions
• Work with internal departments to meet customer’s needs
• Data entry in various platforms
• Collaborate with internal team to ensure a seamless client experience

Qualifications

• Active New York State Property & Casualty Insurance License
• At least 1 or 2 years office experience
• Strong communication and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• Technology & computer proficiency
• Positive Attitude
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently & with others
• Reliable
• Ability to pass background check
