Licensed Insurance Agent / Insurance Customer Service Representative

Affiliated Brokers Insurance is seeking a motivated, professional individual to join our team in Kearney. We are an independent insurance agency serving Central Nebraska with a strong focus on client relationships, personalized service, and long-term stability.

We are particularly interested in candidates who already hold an active Property & Casualty insurance license and have insurance agency experience. However, we are also open to considering exceptional individuals with strong customer service, banking, lending, office administration, or account management backgrounds who are looking to build a long-term career in the insurance industry.

What You'll Do

• Work directly with clients to answer questions and provide outstanding service
• Quote, service, and review personal insurance policies, including home, auto, and umbrella coverage
• Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, and coverage reviews
• Communicate with insurance carriers and underwriters
• Maintain accurate documentation and client records
• Help clients understand their insurance options and make informed decisions
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive, professional service

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Nebraska Property & Casualty Insurance License
• Previous insurance agency experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to learn and adapt in a professional office environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team

For Candidates New to Insurance

While insurance experience is preferred, we recognize that great employees come from many backgrounds. Candidates with strong professional experience in customer service, banking, financial services, healthcare administration, office management, or similar fields may be considered. The right candidate must be willing to obtain a Nebraska Property & Casualty license and learn the insurance industry.
