Licensed Journeyman Plumber

Shank Brothers Inc. is a family-owned plumbing and heating company specializing in new construction projects, including hotels, apartment complexes, and nursing homes. We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Foreman to lead and oversee our team on active job sites.

Position Overview
As a Working Plumbing Foreman, you will lead a crew of plumbers while remaining hands-on in the field. You will be responsible for coordinating projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining compliance with all codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of plumbers on new construction projects
• Plan and coordinate plumbing installations in collaboration with general contractors and other trades
• Ensure all work meets code requirements and company quality standards
• Manage materials, including ordering, receiving, and job site organization
• Oversee change orders, submittals, and inspections
• Train and mentor apprentices and journeyman plumbers
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex plumbing issues
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized job site at all times

Work Environment

• New construction projects only (no service calls or drain cleaning)
• Collaborative, team-oriented job sites

Work Schedule

• Typical start time: 7:30 AM
• Typical end time: 4:00 PM
• No on-call work
• No mandatory overtime

Requirements

• Valid Plumbing License
• Proven experience in construction plumbing
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Experience coordinating with general contractors and multiple trades
• Reliable transportation
• Professional references required
