Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work with individuals and couples to address emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. You will provide therapeutic support through individual couples and family sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster positive change and improve family dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of couples, families, and individuals.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each individual or couples' specific circumstances.
• Provide individual and couples therapy sessions focused on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and enhancing relationships.
• Collect and analyze data related to patient progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Manage cases effectively, ensuring that all necessary resources are available for clients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, adhering to medical terminology standards and ICD-10 coding requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Valid licensure as a therapist or counselor in the state of practice.
• Experience in child family counseling is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles is preferred.
• Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and case management practices.
• Strong understanding of special education needs and working with individuals with disabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Proficient in medical terminology and ICD-10 coding relevant to mental health services.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
