Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (3 + Yrs exp. Req.)

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist with 3 years experience to join our medical massage team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services aimed at pain relief, relaxation, and overall wellness. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, committed to delivering personalized patient care in a welcoming environment. The therapist will play a vital role in enhancing clients’ health and well-being through expert massage techniques and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to individual patient needs
• Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern
• Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness strategies
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and patient progress
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all clients in compliance with occupational health standards
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive pain management and wellness programs
• Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements

Experience

• Valid licensure and insurance as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations
• Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on pain management and therapeutic massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
• Prior experience working in a medical massage therapy or similar healthcare setting is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and professionally
• Familiarity with occupational health standards to ensure safety during treatments
• Experience with medical massage or modalities that emphasize holistic wellness and client satisfaction is highly desirable

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
