Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Commission-Based | Fully Equipped Clinical Space | Community Focused
Rainbow Community Health & Wellness (RCHW) is seeking a passionate, clinical, and mission-minded Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our multidisciplinary integrative health team. At RCHW, we believe that bodywork is a vital tool for empowerment and health equity. We are looking for an LMT who understands the intersection of physical health and psychological safety for our diverse community.
The Opportunity: A Fully Supported Clinical Environment
We remove the overhead barriers so you can focus on your clients. RCHW provides a fully equipped, professional clinical environment, including:
- Equipment: High-quality massage table, massage chair for seated work, and professional hand tools.
- Supplies: All clinical linens (table pad, sheets, towels, face cradle covers, sanitizer) are provided.
- On-Site Laundry: Access to our washer/dryer unit so you never have to transport soiled linens or pay for outside services.
- Integrated Care: A built-in referral network from our mental health team, recovery support, HIV counselors, and community health program.
What We Offer
- 60/40 Commission Split: Earn 60% of every service fee while the organization provides private space, massage table and chair, professional liability insurance, and scheduling software/EHR system. This rate is negotiable if the LMT is self-insured.
- Mission-Driven Environment: Work in a space dedicated to affirming and trauma-informed care standards, harm reduction, and social justice.
- Professional Growth: Opportunities in community health work and health services are offered to all RCHW staff, along with opportunities to participate in community outreach and wellness education.
- Flexible scheduling: We are able to offer appointment times based on your availability, to make appointments more accessible for your clients. Receptionist assistance is also available during our clinic office hours.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, affirming, trauma-informed and culturally competent massage therapy (30, 60, or 90-minute sessions).
- Provide services to a minimum of 6 clients (or the equivalent of 6 working hours minimum) per week.
- Market your massage therapy services to our diverse community and clientele, along with other integrative health and wellness services.
- Manage the provided RCHW linens using our on-site laundry facilities.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation (SOAP notes) in our EHR system.
- Collaborate with our Clinical Director and LPHA staff to support holistic patient care plans.
