Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Summary

• Hourly or hourly plus commission, nonexempt, non-supervisory position.
• Primarily responsible for providing guests with facial, skincare or waxing services in a professional and courteous manner.
• Responsible for professional recommendation of products and additional services to guests based on client needs.
• Supervised by Spa Manager.

Responsibilities

• a) Essential Duties
• i) Adheres to Corporate Policy and property standards for guest service.
• ii) Refers guest problems or complaints to supervisor.
• iii) Provides guests with professional massage therapy.
• iv) Educates guests about individual needs and other available services.
• vi) Maintains clean and neat workstation during shift; leaves room clean for next shift.
• vii) Restocks products and linens during shift as assigned.
• viii) Cleans and sterilizes equipment as necessary.
• x) Completes personalized treatment card for each guest.
• b) Additional Duties
• i) Secures department upon nightly closing.
• ii) Reports inventory needs to Spa Manager.
• iii) Maintains supplies in wax and facial room as per assignment.
• iv) Reports any nonworking or unsafe equipment to department head.
• v) Performs other job-related duties as directed.

Qualifications

• a) Must possess a current massage therapy license for the State of AZ.
• b) Must be flexible, with the ability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• c) Must be able to interact positively with a variety of people and understand the market and how to interact with them.
• d) Must understand at the end of the training period how to safely perform services on guests to the spa.
• Provide exceptional service to all clients.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $72.00 per hour
