Austin Cosmetic Surgery is seeking an experienced Licensed Medical Aesthetician (LMA) to join our high-performing cosmetic surgery and wellness practice. We are a luxury, patient-centered private practice delivering advanced surgical and non-surgical aesthetic treatments to an exclusive and discerning clientele.
This position operates within a medically supervised environment and plays a critical role in supporting surgical outcomes, long-term skin health, and structured treatment planning.
Position Overview
The Licensed Medical Aesthetician is responsible for delivering advanced aesthetic treatments while developing comprehensive, long-term skincare strategies aligned with surgical and injectable outcomes.
This role requires clinical precision, production accountability, and a commitment to elevated patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Esthetician License
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a medical setting (not solely a day spa)
- Laser certification
- Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Familiarity with EMR systems
Strong understanding of treatment planning and patient education
Preferred Experience
- Plastic Surgery Practice Experience
- Pre- and post-operative skincare management
- Microneedling (RF preferred)
- Medical-grade chemical peels
- Hydrafacial
- IPL / BBL experience
- CO2 laser post-care familiarity
- Acne and pigment correction protocols
Ability to create structured, long-term treatment plans
Compensation & Benefits
- $24–$28/hour based on experience
- 8–12% commission on services
- 5–10% retail commission
- Separate performance bonus for treatment plan sales above established revenue thresholds
