An established medical aesthetics practice in Highland Park is seeking an experienced Licensed Medical Esthetician / Laser Specialist to join our professional team.

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled aesthetic professional with experience in advanced skincare and laser technologies who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and results in a refined medical aesthetic environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical experience performing clinical skincare treatments and advanced laser procedures while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and patient experience.

Candidates with laser experience and an existing client following are strongly encouraged to apply.
Candidates currently working in dermatology, plastic surgery, or advanced medical aesthetic practices are especially encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional aesthetic and laser treatments including:
• Laser hair removal
• Laser skin rejuvenation and resurfacing
• Pigment and vascular treatments
• BBL / IPL and other advanced light-based therapies
• Medical-grade facials
• Chemical peels
• Microneedling and other advanced skin treatments
• Conduct comprehensive skincare consultations and develop personalized treatment plans
• Educate patients on treatment options, skincare regimens, and product recommendations
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records
• Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and laser safety protocols meet strict clinical standards
• Deliver an exceptional, high-touch patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Esthetician License required
• Laser certification and hands-on experience required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a medical spa or aesthetic practice
• Experience performing advanced laser treatments such as BBL, IPL, resurfacing, pigment correction, and vascular treatments
• Experience with advanced aesthetic laser platforms preferred, including systems from Sciton and Cartessa Aesthetics
• Strong knowledge of medical-grade skincare and aesthetic technologies
• Professional presentation and excellent communication skills
• Commitment to patient safety, results, and exceptional service
