Job Summary
As a Licensed Medical Ketamine Prescriber, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of individuals struggling with mental health challenges. Your expertise in administering ketamine therapy will provide hope and healing to patients dealing with conditions such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety. You will work collaboratively within a dynamic team to deliver compassionate care while ensuring compliance with medical standards and regulations.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine suitability for ketamine therapy.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive diagnostic evaluations.
  • Administer ketamine infusions safely and effectively, monitoring patients throughout the process.
  • Provide ongoing mental health counseling and psychotherapy, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Engage in crisis management and addiction counseling as needed to support patients through challenging situations.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms to extend care to patients who may not be able to visit the clinic in person.

Experience

  • Valid medical license with post-residency experience in psychiatry or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in pediatric psychiatry and working with children is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with behavioral health practices, including psychopharmacology and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Previous hospital or clinic experience, particularly in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, intake processes, data collection, and maintaining medical records.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or geriatric populations is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
