Licensed Medicare Agent

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Licensed Medicare Agent to join our dynamic team. This role involves educating clients about Medicare options, assisting with plan selections, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, sales experience, and a thorough understanding of insurance products, particularly Medicare plans. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse client needs. Duties

  • Educate clients on Medicare plans, benefits, and coverage options to help them make informed decisions
  • Conduct outside sales efforts through community outreach, telemarketing, and marketing campaigns
  • Assist clients with plan enrollment processes while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Negotiate plan details with clients to meet their specific healthcare needs and budget
  • Manage sales administration tasks including documentation, follow-ups, and customer records management
  • Provide ongoing customer service support to address questions or concerns regarding Medicare plans
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers and marketing teams to promote available plans and benefits
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, plan changes, and benefits administration policies

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively engage clients
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse populations are highly desirable
  • Strong analysis skills for assessing client needs and recommending suitable plans
  • Proficiency in sales administration tools and CRM systems for tracking client interactions
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance during client interactions
  • Customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and empathetically
  • Experience in marketing strategies relevant to insurance products or healthcare services
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration when necessary
