We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Licensed Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about mental health, values clinical excellence, and is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Position Summary

The Licensed Therapist will provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and/or families in an outpatient setting. This role includes conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, providing ongoing therapy, maintaining timely documentation, and collaborating with other providers as needed to ensure continuity of care.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and/or couples therapy services to clients across the lifespan, as appropriate
  • Complete initial assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and diagnostic impressions
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as clinically indicated
  • Collaborate with psychiatric providers, primary care providers, schools, and other community supports as appropriate
  • Assess for safety concerns, including suicidal ideation, self-harm risk, abuse, and crisis situations, and respond according to policy and clinical standards
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and clinical supervision as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical and professional standards in accordance with state licensing board regulations and HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related mental health field
  • Active and unrestricted licensure in North Carolina as one of the following:
  • LCSW
  • LCMHC
  • Licensed Psychologist or other applicable independent mental health license
  • Minimum of [1–2] years of outpatient therapy experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, and other common mental health concerns
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable providing in-person and/or telehealth services, depending on practice needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with children, adolescents and adults
  • Training in trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, or other evidence-based modalities
  • Experience with EHR documentation systems
  • Paneling with major insurance companies is a plus

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help individuals navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth. Duties

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to support patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies.
  • Facilitate intake assessments and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patient needs and clinical best practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
