Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed mental health therapist (LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT) to join our practice. This role offers flexibility to provide both in-person and telehealth services, with access to a private individual office as well as a collaborative group space. Duties
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine client needs and treatment plans.
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health emergencies effectively while ensuring client safety.
- Facilitate intake appointments, develop personalized treatment plans, and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide specialized counseling services including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient and outpatient settings to coordinate case management and ensure seamless patient care.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote counseling sessions while adhering to clinical standards and confidentiality protocols.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICD coding for accurate medical records management and support clinical research initiatives when applicable.
Skills
- Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques.
- Strong experience in crisis management, crisis intervention, behavior management, and social work practices within behavioral health settings.
- Excellent skills in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, case management, and medical documentation using ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems.
- Familiarity with telehealth technology platforms for delivering remote mental health services effectively.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and treatments; experience with inpatient or outpatient clinical environments preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations involving grief, trauma (including PTSD), chronic pain counseling, or addiction recovery with compassion and professionalism.
- Strong communication skills for engaging clients across diverse backgrounds while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards.
Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
