Monday through Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays as needed
Hybrid - 30 hours on site, 10 hours remote.
Delivers the daily group psychotherapy session that anchors each IOP program day, develops and updates each patient's treatment plan, conducts the biopsychosocial assessment at intake, provides clinical supervision to the behavioral health technician, and serves as the clinical lead for the IOP.
Required Credentials:
Active, unrestricted California license in one of the following:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) — Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) — Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) — Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Licensed Psychologist — Board of Psychology
- Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with an active California RN license
- and NP certification, Medicare enrollment as a recognized behavioral health practitioner is required. Note that LMFTs and LPCCs/MHCs became Medicare-recognized for independent billing in January 2024; verify current enrollment status before hire.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Two or more years of post-licensure experience delivering group psychotherapy in an outpatient behavioral health setting.
- Experience with adult Medicare-aged populations; familiarity with geriatric mental health.
- Training in evidence-based group modalities (CBT, DBT skills, ACT, BA (behavioral activation).
- Familiarity with IOP-level-of-care criteria and ASAM-style level-of-care determination.
- Comfort with telehealth delivery if the remote-A/V group model is adopted.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
